UK Poverty Report 2020/21

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has released its annual report on the nature and scale of poverty across the UK.

While we are amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the report shows there were many who entered it at risk of poverty, and those already in poverty have been hit the hardest.

The report examines how poverty has changed in society since the start of the pandemic, and overall, in relation to work, social security and housing, including recommendations for policy makers to improve people’s circumstances and prevent more people falling into poverty.
